Better Overview and control of your personal data
From 25 May 2018, it will become easier for you as a current or former customer of Danske Bank to get an overview and control of the personal data we hold about you and to know what we use your data for. In other words, it will become even easier to
- view the personal data we have registered about you
- be informed of how we use the data
- have the data updated
The background is the revised EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that takes effect on this date. The rules apply to all businesses, organisations and public institutions in the EU.

We typically hold personal data about your contact details, household, education and training, employment, financial situation and the products and services we provide to you. We use this personal data, for example, to perform agreements with you, to protect you against fraud, to meet our statutory requirements as a financial institution and to provide you with the best possible advice on the basis of your specific needs.
