On 31st October 2013 Danske Bank announced the closure of Personal and Business Banking operations in the Republic of Ireland. At that time, impacted account holders were written to and the functionality of impacted accounts (e.g. current accounts, credit cards and overdrafts) was permanently removed on the termination date(s) advised to customers.
As part of the ongoing wind down of Personal and Business Banking Operations, Danske Bank has also sold a number of loan portfolios in recent years.
Prior to and on the completion of each previous loan sale, Danske Bank wrote to all relevant customers to provide information about the loan sale and the contact details of the new owners of the loans. Further detail on each loan sale is set out in the table below. If a facility has been sold Danske Bank is no longer responsible for the performance and/or enforcement of the facility and any agreements relating to the facility.
