  • Activate Danske ID

    You need your District user ID and your password.
    Please note Danske ID can be activated only on one device at a time.

  • How to approve a request using Danske ID

    Danske ID is our security app. You can use Danske ID instead of eSafeID device to securely access Danske Bank's solutions and approve actions. Once you have set up the Danske ID app, simply open the app, scan the QR code and swipe to approve.

    If you have Danske ID notifications enabled on your device, Danske ID can alert you whenever you need to approve District logon actions.

    Please note: Never approve District logon actions you do not recognise.
  • Lost or stolen phone

    If you lose your mobile phone or if it is stolen, you must block the Danske ID app by calling District Customer Support.

    If you get your phone back
    If the Danske ID app has been blocked, you have to reactivate the app in order to use it again.
    Remember that you need your District user ID and password to reactivate the app.

    If you have a new phone
    When you get a new phone, you also have to reactivate the Danske ID app in order to use it again.
    Remember that you need your District user ID and password to reactivate the app.
    • Go to the App Store or Google Play, search for Danske ID and download the app.
    • Follow the instructions on the screen.

    Please note that Danske ID can be used only on one device at a time. When you activate Danske ID on a new device, the app is deactivated on the previously used device.
  • Forgot Pin?

    If you want to change or if you have forgotten your 4-digit PIN for the Danske ID app, you have to reactivate the app before continuing.

    Remember that you need your District user ID and password in order to reactivate the Danske ID app.

    Before logon
    • Before entering the PIN or scanning biometrics, click 'PIN forgotten?'.
    • Click 'Reset PIN'.
    • Reactivate the app by following the instructions on the screen.

    After logon
    • Click the Menu button in the top left corner.
    • Select 'Deactivate app'.
    • Reactivate the app by following the instructions on the screen.
