The bottom line: improvement continues in Europe despite reopening. US infections move sideways but at least no sign of resurgence after the end to lockdowns across US states. The situation is still not good in EM/developing countries where more countries show a worrying increase in new cases. Brazil now has the highest number of new deaths globally. Results for the drug Remdesivir look promising.
