The bottom line is that Europe is seeing more progress, as is New York. However, some US states still see little improvement and Texas has actually seen a rising trend in new infections and deaths in recent days. In Emerging Markets/developing countries the picture is still looking bleak. Reopening continues in Europe and focus will be on what happens to virus numbers in the coming weeks on the back of this.
